Join us for a Cross-Network Connect focused on mental health and managing high stress and uncertainty on Tuesday, May 19, from 2:30-3:30 pm EST. In this session, dancer and clinician Mario Ismael Espinoza, LCSW, will present practical Neurosomatic tools to assess and support the nervous system's needs. These tools are intended to modulate the nervous system in response to high stress during uncertain times.
Note: this session is open to all Dance/USA members. While we will discuss tools and tactics from a licensed mental health professional, it is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice from Dance/USA.
About Our Guest Speaker:
Mario Ismael Espinoza, LCSW (they/them) is a dancer and clinician, currently residing in unceded territory of the Lenape people, currently known as New York City. Mario is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice and a full-time employee of the Entertainment Community Fund.
