Through her writing, speaking, and online education, Rachel advocates for a performance-driven perspective on nutrition, where fueling the body is seen as foundational to artistry, strength, and longevity in dance.
Nurture The Healthy Dancer® is designed to equip dancers and educators with practical, evidence-based strategies to fuel for performance, endurance, and long term health. Grounded in sports nutrition and informed by the unique demands of dance training, this session helps dancers better understand how consistent nourishment supports strength, stamina, recovery, focus, and injury prevention.
Participants will learn how to build balanced meals and snacks that stabilize energy throughout long rehearsal days, auditions, and performance seasons. We will break down key macronutrients, hydration needs, and timing strategies in a way that feels realistic and immediately applicable. The workshop also addresses common fueling challenges within dance culture, including inconsistent intake, under-fueling, and confusion around nutrition misinformation.
